Have to remember Vital tech Tones is hybrid of three well knon jazz fusion bands:
Vital INformation (Smith, some time Frank Gambale, Tom Coster), Tribal Tech (with Scott Henderson) and Bela Fleck Fleck & The Flecktones. I think the parent bands should be up before the spin-off....

Thanks for that info Dick, I agree.

I spotted that the other day and swear haven't bothered to check out since about 3 weeks after it started -  I jumped ship very early on - so I was really surprised it caught on (no accounting for taste.....)

Man, I need to pick up Sluggo. Those stream of consciousness lyrics crack me up!

Dick, I'm actually in Boston... but I'm originally from Virginia (just a bit north of North Carolina). Smile

Thanks again, Dick! Although I must admit hearing us on the radio is once agan making me realize how non-single friendly we are! LOL

We seriously considered releasing the album as one long track, as it's meant to be heard in one sitting, but figured that would annoy people. Smile

No worries, Dick. LOL There will be no shootings! Who will carry the torch for good music then?

I love North Carolina, at any rate! It's beautiful, and the people there are substantially friendlier than they are in Boston...
