I went with Myung, but only because I can't consider Geddy a prog metal musician. Side by side, Geddy wastes Myung.

Similarly, I voted for Malone, who I think is great, but Geddy is my all time favorite bassist.

Seeing Myung play a 6 string bass with his fingers like it's a guitar, it's hard to vote for anyone else in that group.

Like the poll says, i don't think Geedy as a "metal prog" bass player... Myung is really good, bat Malone is awsome!!!! specially 'cause its style, it's more rysky than Myung.

Otherwise... Geedy kick both... Malone and Myung Wink

Rush is not really metal IMHO.
John Myung is an excellent bass  player, although sometimes it's not easy to hear him.

John Myung, though I  have to say that I've yet to hear Sean Malone. Geddy Lee doesnt play prog metal.

All I know is the opening of "Lifting Shadows Off a Dream" from Dream Theater 'Awake,' where John Myung does some incredible harmonic picking - on a bass! - continues to captivate my musical attention.  Myung gets my vote...

Man, you listen to "Marathon" from Rush's Power Windows, and that's just one of the songs I refer to when I have to pick my personal best bassist. This and he does it while he sings.

Shawn Malone, with John Myung as close second. Geddy Lee is not a metal bassist, even some Rush songs have part-wise that metal-edge.
