Oops. I know only 1/3 of these. Voted Magma. Love Shylock too.

I've heard half of the bands... my favourite is Pulsar "Halloween", but I really love Art Zoyd, Arachnoid, Carpe Diem, Heldon and Weidorje amongst others... BTW I think that the best Ange album is LE CIMETIERE DES ARLEQUINES...

I would have voted Lard Free, but that release and the archived one I haven't heard...yet.

I would suggest trying a few out of my top 10. It appears that not many members are aware how good they were. And when it comes to rock fusion, they BLOW AWAY anything from Canterbury and fuse English melodic with German electronic very well indeed in the later 70's. I would also recommend a very early 80's release Dun - Eros.

3 to start with....(all instrumentals...in the best european tradition!)
Lard Free - Im Around About Midnight
Travelling - Voici la nuit Tombee
Jean-Luc Ponty - Aurora
