They could be a bit dull sometimes, but Unknown Pleasures keeps me coming back and they never really had the chance to slip.

Very funny Ivan, I did not know you were that humorous? Anyway Joy Division were an amazing band for their time, though I wonder if their impact comes from retrofiting based on the popularity of their second incarnation New order. I say this because New Order was\is one of my favorote dance\pop\new wave (what is the official genre they stick them in?) bands, and I was already primed to like Joy Division because I liked the personel of New Order.

They aren't the best in the world but they are pretty good - Ian Curtis managed to elevate the band to a level above similar bands of their time. Love will Tear Us Apart is still a classic in many clubs today
