Mine is when Hackett left Genesis and Phil Collins took over and destroyed them. So I voted other.

Syd Barrett going completely *bonkers* and as such being forced to leave PF was quite a tragedy I think.

It wasn't all Collins fault that Genesis got crappy, it was the whole bands fault, understand?? Angry

Yeah but It was Collins who direct them, on a interview I saw with him it was he who got them to write those daft love songs.Ermm

I like Steve Hogarth so I can't say anything about Fish.  It would have to be Genesis because they became irrelevant after Gabriel left.

Gabriel leaving Genesis.

Dont care much for Waters leaving PF because their last two albums (Wall and Final Cut) were crap.

What about Greg Lake leaving Crimson?

The obvious answer for me is Gabriel (& Hackett!) leaving genesis.
