Of these "Always in your face" artists, which one pushes your tolerance level to the limit.
My vote goes to Madonna, the epitome of everything phoney and materialistic.

Other: Milli Vanilli - or any other artist who cheats the listeners like that. All of the above mentioned artists deserve some credit. Most of them are really good singers except for Madonna and Britney, and those two are at least good business(wo)men. And I love Madonna's album Ray of Light, and her performance on Evita.

let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword

I was totally torn between the Sealion, MC and Bratney................
a group of us all went to the coast for the new years break, 6 of us in a house, and two girls INSISTED on playing Bratney cd's all the flippin time, and when the guys got their guitars out they threatened to cut the strings "cos guitars are cr*p and SO last century"
Sheeeeeesh, I shoulda voted for Bratney, but MC got my vote for her selfish minipulation and usage of a small frightened child at Live 8.

CD, MJ, BS and Christina Aquilera.
Plus any "burn and destroy," "doom and gloom, woe is me," "it's all your fault" or "cap my ho girlfriend's ass/get dat bling" musick.
Now, I'm not a big fan of the music, but I actually have some respect for Madonna, and what she has done with her career.

Celine Dion's voice causes my bowels to seize up and most of my vital organs to temporarily cease functioning. I have to remove sharp objects from view whenever I hear that voice for my own personal safety.
That video of her singing AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long” is the strongest case for assisted suicide I’ve ever seen!

None of the above, oddly enough. I do, however, have zero tolerance for:
- James Blunt
- Chris De Burgh
- Jamie Cullum
- Kenny G
- Michael Bolton
- Daniel O'Donnell
- James Blunt
- Alanis Morrisette
- James Blunt
Not forgetting that vapid, nauseating, yelping, derivative, tedious, loathesome and trite excuse for a singer/songwriter
James Blunt!
