This is an extremely difficult poll. I went with Catch The Rainbow from On Stage

In spite of my preference for Child In Time and Highway Star, I think
Burn bursts more of a virtuously outstanding flair, along with
auditively orgasmic magnetism for the commonly heavy-riff-ear.

This is why you should let Robin save the day...

"Why didn´t Rosemary"!
One of my all-time favorite solo's, but not one everyone remembers in these polls. I'm even surprised at seeing it in a Blackmore poll...

Highway Star or Stargazer... I'll vote for Stargazer since Highway Star is not on here.

Of those listed, I'll go for 'Child In Time'. It must have been the fastest sounding guitar solo ever in 1970, and still sounds astonishing. However, a favourite of mine is his astonishing work on the California Jam version of 'Mistreated' in 1974. David Coverdale also peaked here for me too...

"Burn" is the definitive hard-rock Stratocaster solo. RB captures the Strat tone perfectly on that one.
