But the next day it might work without problems.  How can I fix this problem?

Is it on any specific websites? Which version are you using? (the beta not being a good idea, since it's still more than rough around the edges). The only real issue I've had with Opera is using it to change settings on my router, since the router isn't too happy about the way it loads pages and I find I have to wait a bit after the page has loaded to do anything or it won't change settings (the wait, presumably, is the extra time it would have taken other browsers to load the page ). It's also less than forgiving on poorly written pages.

Not on specific sites. And the version is 7. At least I think so

If you go to About on the Help menu, it'll open up a page with the version information at the top. 8.54 is the latest stable version, so if you are using 7 it's unlikely to be fixed

Version 8.5. Is 8.54 a newer version or is it the same thing?

I've never experienced anything like that...

That said,
http://blogs.zdnet.com/BTL/?p=2201 just a day earlier . On the other hand, that's one vulnerability rather than thirteen.

If I recall correctly, one big security problem for Safari is the way that it uses the same engine as a lot of other bits of OSX, in much the same way that lots of Windows uses bits of Internet Explorer. I forget what that was all about, though... edit: http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2006/02/20060220220507.shtml There we go. I don't think that was actually the problem, but it's basically the same thing everyone yells at IE for.

Oh right, the 0 critical errors are from 2004

But still is one of the most safest web browsers of all

Well, for a start Firefox has tabs.
And a load of good plugins such as FireFTP and ReminderFox.

Well, I've been using Firefox since a couple of months because of heaps and heaps of spyware while using IE. Since I've been using fox I haven't had any problems! No how cool is that!

the fact that www.nakedwomen.com isn't my homepage anymore, could also be the key in this case...

Neither does Microsoft.

I'm on a Mac, but I primarily use Firefox, although I just started checking out Camino.

On my work PC I use Firefox. I don't know how I ever lived without tabbed browsing!

You haven't got a filesharing app going that is taking all your upload (not download) bandwidth?

Except...
its ability to let silent installers install
allow popups
same engine as file explorer allowing hacks to affect the whole OS
no tabbed browsing
totally vulnerable to trojans

anything else?

And Firefox has the Adblocker extension, which means I rarely if ever see ANY ads on a web page.
Plus I use Linux at home most of the time so IE isn't even an option.
