Today I couldn`t post my review for The Beatles `"Let It Be" album. I tried 3 times. Fortunately, I saved it to my PC`s hard disk. What happened?

It was the first review written for this album in Progarchives.

I hope this problem with posting reviews could be fixed.

I tried again, logging in first, without good results.

I tried again erasing two "bad words" which I quoted from Lennon`s opinion about this album. I thought that the "bad words" were responsible for some automatic  censorship in the website and not posting, but it wasn`t true.

So, it doesn`t work, I don`t know why!

If the Administrators Could "save" one of my postings of my review for this album, I prefer the last version, without the quoting of Lennon`s opinion.

There have been several problems on the website lately. One review shows up in my review history, but doesn't appear on the album's page. Maybe you are witnessing the same problem.

Or it could have been something else: maybe the server doesn't let you review the album which you rated earlier - that happened to me once when I was reviewing an EoS album.

Guillermo, drop me a PM with details of the e-mail address you are using, and I'll check if there is anything in the database from you.

Bob, I was checking the database and for the "official" Guillermo's e-mail adress, the last review is dated March, 27th (not a Beatles one). Apparently there's nothing wrong with his registration.

Ivan, once you rate an album (with or without a review) it's done for that particular album.

I'm having the same problem. I'm going to try from my home PC tomorrow to see if that makes any difference.

Thanks to Easy Livin and you for checking this problem.

When I wanted to write a review for the "Let It Be" album, I clicked on the "Submit a review" link . So, the window with the space to write my review appeared, with my e-mail address automatically written in the space destined for it. My e-mail address was right.

I think that the last review that I posted in March 27th was for ELO`s "On the Third Day" album. But until today I had the problem to post my review for "Let It Be".

I have to say that my review was a bit bigger than the previous reviews that I posted. I don`t know if it wasn`t posted due to its lenght.

Ivan:

My review for "Let It Be" doesn`t appear in the reviews page of this album, and also not in the page which has all my reviews as Prog Reviewer.

I never rate any album without writing a review for it at the same time. Let`s hope this problem could be fixed.

Yes, I understood that it would not be possible. But in that case, I have no idea how this problem can be explained, besides by the several glitches on the site lately.

Tonight I tried again.

I again went to the "Let It Be" page. To my surprise, there was a review for this album dated February 18, 2006  (It didn`t appear there the first day that I tried to post my review for this album). So, I thought that the problem was resolved, so I tried to post my review twice, without success.

On Friday I wrote 2 other reviews for other Beatles` albums. Both were posted successfully.

Strange things are happening in this website.

I tried again today, but it didn`t work.

Are there plans to fix this bug, or my "excellent review" for this album is destined to remain "in the dark" forever?

I saw M@X doing some test on "Let it be" Guillermo. Sorry, i thought it was sorted. As it happened, i PM'd Max today about a similar problem with a couple of Ixthuluh albums. I'm draw his attention this ongoing issue.

Has anyone else tried to post a review for "let it be" (the original, not the "naked") recently?

Some minutes ago, I used another PC and I tried again, without success again.

I even tried using the Opera 8 browser. It didn`t work.

Thanks again, Easy Livin. Let`s see what happens with these bugs.

Is anyone else having problems posting reviews for specific albums? i.e. your new reviews for most albums are being accepted, but an album (or albums) is causing problems?

Bob,
I've already reported that I can't post my review for Trick Of The Tail. I have successfully reviewed other albums since but this one won't work.

Guys, I have discovered what appeared to be preventing a couple of my reviews being accepted. I had included a web address, or more specifically http:// in my reviews. As soon as I removed that, they were accepted OK.

Could you have a look and see if you have a web address in the reviews you are having problems with.

Hi, Easy Livin:

You`re right. The problem with my review for the "Let It Be" album was the "http://" section of the website address that I included in my review. I deleted it and I successfully submitted it.

Thanks, again.

Guillermo.
