Otro Peruano, no había visto esta cadena de mensajes (¿Como demonios se traduce thread?).
Normalmente encuentro mas Brasileños o Argentinos en otros sitios progresivos, pero acá pareciera que Peruanos y Chilenos somos mayoría. Aunque nuestros amigos Mejicanos (si con J no con X, suena mas como nuestra lengua) no se quedan atrás.

Tienes razón Mexico viene de la palabra Mexi en Náhuatl (Ombligo) al igual que en el caso de los peruanos la palabra Cuzco que viene del Quechua Cosqo (Ombligo del Mundo), pero la Real Academia de la Lengua española acepta ambas formas, ya sea copn X o J.
Pero si algo nos une a los latinoamericanos es la lengua Española (Y nuestro pariente cercano el Portugués) por eso opto por la forma castiza, a pesar que tienes toda la razón, la etimología del nombre es originalmente con X.

The problem is that multiple choices condemns the thread to be not trustable. Number of Latin Americans here (including the non-voting people) is more or less propotional to our country's population with Brazil and Mexico leading followed by Argentina, Peru and Chile. The one noticeable issue I see: there are much less Colombians than expected.
