Opium, the only drug that a declared war was fought and won in the 'war on drugs'.  Plus the UK got Hong Kong out of the deal, Rock Rock on!

I voted for "other" meaning none.  Sorry folks, but drugs are for losers.  At least these kind are.  They always have been and they always will.

If I had to choose cannabis, I'd prefer hashish to marihuana. I tried LSD a few times and am of the opinion it induces temporary schizophrenia. A most enjoyable feeling as long as one always keeps in mind one has taken a drug. Some forget it and never come down again. I have seen a few sad cases like that.

Tim Leary always made a big deal about set and setting, and I have to agree with him.  If you are going to trip, especially for the first time, do it in a safe place where you feel comfortable, and when you do not have anything to pressing on your mind.

The main difference between MJ and H is that MJ is more psychedelic, speed, while the H gives a more comfortable high, more meditative and comtemplative. The effect can be more physical with Hash, although there's also a cerebral dimension like with the MJ high.
It can be explained by the fact that MJ features many substances, which gives the rich effect while H contains mailny THC resins glands. That's why the H high is clearer, more focused and eventually, less exhausting than the MJ high.
After several joints of MJ, you get pretty tired, due to the multiple psychoactive compounds which act in a contradictory way, and you reach a step where you can't get much higher by smoking more.
With Hash, you can go higher and higher, without reaching this saturation level.
Of course, i talk about real pure H.
Eventually, some very strong MJ can give you a LSD-like experience, while H act in a more narcotic, and less psychedelic way.

Alcohol and Marijuana are my daily drugs, cant live without them!

But if I want to have a nice trip, mushrooms or acid caps can confuse me enough to have hallucinations and laughing until my stomach breaks!

But you know, both have also their disagrements. For the mush, it could turn over your stomach and for the acid, you could be so confused that it brings you on the dark side of the drugs: THE BAD TRIP

So, we have to playing well with these substances if we want to have good trip!

Virtually all 70's (prog) bands were on MJ at least.
