Oh yes! Dancing is like second nature to me. It has been that way since I discovered the magic of rhythm around the age of thirteen, and started to dance in my room for hours on end in the evenings. As a teen I even taught myself the legendary moonwalk by keenly observing the master himself in his videos LOL.

I don't dance nearly as often these days, not since I started to really listen to music, and not just use it as a rhythmic device for my dance movements... Having said that, I do remember dancing wildly to Rush's La Villa Strangiato around the time when I first got Hemispheres, due to the pure joy of having finally gotten into it. Nobody had told me yet that one wasn't supposed to be dancing to music with copious odd time sigs

I was made to love magic

Where's the option for "I can't, but I like doing it."  Or does that not make as much sense as it does to me?

Lol and I don't mean public dancing... I like to move around to the beat when I'm tripping and listening to music alone.

No, and I neither drink a tequila and wodka..

Some beer sometimes, but that does not make me dance.

I can't dance and don't intend to learn. That's just not my cup of tea.

Like many here, I've been inclined to start dancing when enough alchohol is involved.  Particularly in college.  But I really can't dance, and don't ever want to dance, I much prefer air instruments!

I'm not  a bad dancer, but in Varadero a Canadian girl who I knew danced much better salsa than me, and that was traumatic also.

I think this is the same as asking anyone if they can dance, prog fans are just the same as any other music fans (although some will beg to differ). Although I think prog music in general blatantly wasn't made to dance to, even if you could dance to something, say, by Yes in 5/4 you would have to be bloody good.
As for me: No, music is for listening or performing, not dancing.

hahah I bet that was. I can relate I met a guy from up north who could shoot better than I could. Very traumatic indeed. What's next.. damn Yankees driving and winning in Nascar.

The worst part is that the teacher used to stay after the class time ()... with the sole intention of helping me to improve a bit ()... and it was impossible. After four sessions she gave up.

Dancing to prog, especially weird time signatures, not easy. Dancing to 7/4 is pretty nice though actually.

I can't dance but not because I'm a "prog-fan"... I can't dance because I'm a MUSICIAN and never trust a musician who CAN !LOL
...I'm a musician/singer/songwriter, visit me on www.reverbnation.com/rupertlenz and there you can choose from 125 recordings you can listen to ( for free ) if you're not limited to prog-rock !
