To be honest, I'm really not entirely sure what to make of that.

That's just the way it is intended, isn't it, TP? Renoir would be proud of you.

You know how to recite, Trousie, which is a rare gift (I have it too,
so I can judge). Most people who are asked to read a story aloud just
do that, without any expression. I think you would make a good actor.
Ever thought about that?

I did a lot of acting before I began to write in earnest, so I'm pretty
comfortable with performing these days. I'd still prefer to be
performing my own work for a living than become "a jobbing actor",
though. But thank you for you lovely comment.

Different people are bound to react differently. That's what makes it fun.

For a comedian you're not really that ...
Nah seriously ... it's not to my taste ... but if it is any consolation I don't enjoy Spike Milligan that much and I didn't "get" Dr. Strangelove or Brazil ... and I thought Meaning of Life was the least appealing Monty Python film ...
For the record, I thought you sounded like Robert Morley from time to time, but that might just be me ...

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”
"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

Well I think that's pretty cool, TP. Wouldn't want to listen to it 24/7 but every now and then.

Nice TP, I love Spike Milligan, The Goons and all that wacky '60s and '70s British warped humour, well done!
