But what most amazes me is that I sill can dance after having stopped drinking for good about three years ago.

I remember one vacation  in Huaraz a, an incredibly beautiful  town at 3,200 Mts over the Sea Level (About 10,500 Feet OSL) which is called the Peruvian Switzerland (Only higher), the second night I went to the disco (Full of tourists) and after 6 beer jars with a friend (Wouldn't dare to drink Scotch or Vodka in small towns) started to dance with every girl I saw.

That night I almost died, my heart beatting rised to 170 (Alcohol mixed with altitude when you live at the sea level) and couldn't breathe (Even when altitude bellow 5,000 Mts normally doesn't affect me) since that day I'm very careful to dance.

damn.... my first thought would have been an adverse reaction to the music...

Probably the music was a factor  But what copuld I do, the disco was full of tourists?

But honestly, dancing at that altitude after only 24 hours is not joke.  And I can't say it was a youth mistake, because it was in 2003

Yeah I can dance. I can't imagine most proggers dancing though or wanting to but I'm different I do what I want to do and I give a rat's ass what anyone else thinks....lol. YOu guys want some prog to dance to? Try the third SFF disc(ticket to everywhere). It's kind of like early techno meets prog. Way ahead of it's time imo.

Mmm... I use to be able, but I always hated it... I feel silly, so I stopped years ago. I don't know if I still can; but I also don't have any intentions of finding it out... Anyway, most people call "dance" to a series of random movements this days. I would like to learn some traditional dances, something with meaning and rules, but I think I would still feel silly, because dancing is to me quite meaningless. Also, dance music don't help, on the account of being such bad music.

Can, but prefer not to, normally.Smile

Danced a lot in my teens & early 20s, though I stayed seated during the effing discoDead era.

I don't know all prog fans but as far as I'm concerned... NO.

I'm Spanish and I had to quit a course of flamenco dancing when I realized a pair of chinese people were faaaaaaaaaaaaaar better Flamenco dancers than me...
