Syzygy and we have quite similar tastes, almost identical even. A
little less: Trouserpress. And there was one short-lived member of the
forum, TomOzric, who also had
amazingly similar tastes to ours.
Philippe shares our love for Krautrock, though it seems for different reasons.
Oliverstoned is another member of the forum with a lot of similarities to us (tastewise, that is).

Syzygy and Joren get closest, I reckons. Oh, and as Jean's just said, the Baldies and I have somwhat similar tastes. I'm not quite as enthusiastic about Peter Hammill, for one thing.
Then again, I'm not sure anyone else is as enthusiastic about Hammill as they are!

^ Seems like all the above mentioned people would be good candidates for RIO/Avant and Krautrock charts ... let me know if you're interested!

I think I could be as enthusiastic about Hammill! Give me time and I will be.
I'm a big VdGG fan, so pH will come a close second.
Not sure if I'm into Kraut Rock or not though.

I can't really add much to what Jean and Trouserpress said, but Sean Trane, Alucard, Sigod and Listennow81 all have excellent taste in music as well (ie they like the same kind of stuff that I do).

Flossy and I have pretty similar tastes, but that just comes from knowing each other for quite a long time.

I'd say Zac M (love for Canterbury) or el Böthy (Anglagard, King Crimson)
and of the reviewers James Unger

Apparently, we all taste much like pork....

A tasty noob dinner is served at the first annual Prog Archives Convention and Barbeque!
(That's Tony R tending the fire.)
Pass the mustard, Easy, and don't let Garten near the flames!

I'm pretty sure mine is Alucard. We share a lot of the same interests in regards to music and seem to have strangely similar tastes.

Indeed !
Just look out for the upcoming Canterbury/ Jazz-Rock additions!

Wow... I think these figures appeared first in a book written around 1560, by German (from Hesse) soldier Hans Staden. The title was: "Voyage to Brazil".
Staden was the first to depict anthropophagy but he forgot to mention that it was ritualistic not for alimentation purposes.

It is of course the broadest of comparisons ... but I seem to have most
in common with symphonic prog fans who also see something special in
Uriah Heep!

well then... I have much in commen you all as well hahahha.
Love Uriah Heep.. Salisbury was one of my first experiences, via my
father way back when, with prog.
listening to Samarkind right now.... great stuff!
A shout out to Avestin who though more has a more advanced collection than I do.. shares a passion for non-English prog.
