I voted for other, and from this class of music I'd vote ELP's Tarkus.  If it's from any timeframe and genre, I prefer The Flower Kings' The Truth Will Set You Free and DT's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.

21st Century Schizoid Man is not an epic by any strectch of the imagination. 7 minutes really isn't that long.

My vote goes for Echoes. Although I do like SOYCD and Karn Evil.
