Is this OK to you?

The UK delegation (This means Syzygy will arrive the night before and come from his hotel) and I will try to find a parking space close to Het Plein

But this leaves a hole from 11H30 until 13H00. What happens then? I estimate my arrival in The Hague around 11H30 as well!!

The plan is that we pick up the French at 1130 and bring them to their hotel by tram, this will take some time, I guess between 30 and 60 minutes. The we have to go by tram to Het Plein so I think 1300 is a decent time to gather for all PA progheads. Bt if someone has a better idea, it's OK to me. Now we have time to discuss!

Talking about songs of The Hague ( Den Haag ) There is one very famous one :

O, o Den Haag, mooie stad achter de duinen

De Schilderwijk, Lange Poten en Het Plein,

O, o Den Haag, zou  met niemand willen ruilen,

Meteen gaan huilen, als ik geen Hagenees zou zijn.

Roughly translated : O, The Hague, beautiful city behind the dunes,

Second sentence are all parts of the city

wouldn't swop  with anyone

Would cry instantly if I wouldn't be a( Hagueian ? ) citizin of The Hague.

For all members, learn the Dutch words by heart, cause this song will be sung !!

I was planning on getting to The Hague central station at about midday, but my plans are flexible. Is there a good place to meet in or around the station, i.e. one that even a slightly cabbaged prog fan with no sense of direction and no knowledge of Dutch can find without too much difficulty?

Being a big Feyenoord fan ( I'm not popular at work for this because a lot of supporters - hooligans - of ADO/Den Haag  - the local football club - work there, currently at position 14 in the Dutch Premier league )  we will have a civilized conversation about the Football. If any , what club do you support SyzygY ??

This evening BBC television: FA Cup Live West Ham against Bolton!

The center hall in Den Haag Centraal Station is also a perfect meeting point and start for our joint adventure, Syzygy! Reactions, please!

It is a good meeting point, but not so for the French delegation. From one station to hotel to another station. Logistically ( that's my field   )  a long way around.

Sounds good to me! I'll be meeting up with Sean Trane first, so as long as it's OK with him...

I'd like to see Bolton win tonight.

Nope, the Hammers are through!

Liverpool beat Fulham 5 - 1 - even Peter Crouch managed to score!
