Guru Guru definitely have fun on stage. And so do Gong; just listen to their live albums. Grobschnitt and Hawkwind are good calls too.  I remember you have mentioned that book before... it is only printed/availbable in German right?  I took 4 years of german.....20 years ago ha ha ha ha

No band seemed to have as much fun as Zappa's bands.  They were encouraged to "put the eyebrows on" most songs.  You can hear it in many of the live performances where the band would throw jokes and musical references into songs throughout the show.  Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.  But the band always appeared to be having a blast onstage.
