REFUGEE's album is a more interesting piece of work.
TRACE is a bit sterile and "obvious" in many ways. Although there is some really good material--There are no surprises. It's all pretty much what you'd expect to get from a keyboard-led instrumental Classical Rock trio.
REFUGEE is a bit more diverse and sometimes dark. The downside to REFUGEE is Lee Jackson's rough vocals. However...if you can get accustomed to them...you may actually find 'em to be the perfect foil for Moraz' style.
Bottom Line: TRACE may be your "safe" short-term bet... but REFUGEE has the potential to be much more rewarding.
(PS: Just a heads-up...Track 2 on REFUGEE is the weakest. Everything else is good stuff)
