Heres a short list of  bands that bore me

Led Zeppelin

Radiohead

Tool

Pink Floyd

Porcupine Tree

The Mars Volta

All these bands are decent , they are good but boring in my  humble opinion , I wont go into why they bore me because thats also  boring

So what bands do you find boring ? Try and keep them prog or prog related

Those bands seem to me to be the most cookie cutter type bands, and seem to be the opposite of progressive rock. Those along side this whole wave of Emo bands that stereotype themselves and see who can sound the most like Fall Out Boy. They may have some talent(I havent paid them enough attention to find out), but without any individuality, talent is useless. I think what these musicians need to do is read Self Reliance by Ralph Waldo Emerson. "imitation is suicide"

Here's a short list of threads that bore me:

1) This one

2) "OMG *X BAND* is the BEST EVER! PERIOD."

3) "X band is overrated"

4) "X band is underrated"

I enjoyed his Soundscapes...

Camel, Opeth, Marillion, and Rick Wakeman's mid to late solo albums are the first respected prog artists that popped in my head.

*yawn*

PS : and how could I forget The Beatles' "White Album"? ... that really bores me to tears! (it's a good thing that they made changes and released their masterpiece called "Abbey Road")
