How do they swap the family braincell so quickly?
|
Its instinct.
|
Wait a sec, when did we get a braincell?
|
Oh yeah I forgot.........its shared!
|
I think the word 'Family' implies that it is shared.
|
Call that an argument?
That was never an argument.

Nope.
Although the only three rock albums my dad owned while I was growing up
were Sgt Pepper, Revolver, and the 2nd Blood, Sweat & Tears, which
are all now in my collection too. But I went a bit beyond that. Now, He
loves a lot of the prog I play him, I even got my mom into Dark Side,
and she only listens to showtunes.
So I guess you could kind of say it was the other way around in my case...

My mom used to listen to Nana Mouskouri and Doris Day. So no.
My dad listened to Beatles a lot, but always urged me to listen to a lot of different kinds of music. I remember one time he came storming into my room when I played Machine Gun by Saxon. I thought he was gonna come to take my head of but no, he said he liked it !!!
Around 14, 15 years old I was friends with a guy who was a few years older than me, he introduced me to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Robin Trower, Jimi Hendrix and stuff.

My parents mostly listen to Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, REM, Rolling Stones, and Peter Framopton, no prog.
I found my way into prog through a select group of friends at school.
Regarding progressive music, i do not think my parents hvae influenced my musical tastes, however, regarding classic rock, my parents had some influence on me.
