 Both great,  but Collins is the better drummer IMO. Say what you will about his commercial ambitions changing the direction of Genesis, he is still one of the all-time great drummers in rock.

Jesus is the best drummer of all. I heard one time he did a 20 minute tambourine solo, and it was entertaining the whole time!

Difficult to say... Chester did an excellent job with Zappa, but Collins work with Genesis and Brand X is truly amazing.

Collins is great but Chester Thompson is also a very gifted drummer.

I love Chester's work with Weather Report! Don't think Collin's is a very good technical player.

Yeah, right on man. I mean, you couldn't handle that s&^% on strong acid, but wow.

Incidently, Thompson is great, but Phil wins.

2nd Incidently, my favorite Genesis drum moment is the dual drumming of Collins and Bruford at the end of Cinema Show on Seconds Out. Always makes me play air drums...
