Yes, "Novella" is excellent. What do you think about "Azure D'or"?

Ashes are Burning and Prologue right behind it.

Sh!t, can't believe this, I agree 100% with Micky!!!!!!!!!! I'm scared

Now seriously, Live at Carnegie Hall is probably the best live compilation any Prog band has ever made.

  • Yessongs was recorded  too early in Yes career and misses a lot of later great Yes stuff,
  • Live 73 (Genesis) is incomplete, they wanted to make a double album to include Supper's Ready and Can Utility, but Mister Stratton Smith thought it was too risky.
  • Seconds Out has Collins on vocals  and destroyed many Steve Hackett parts mixing them loud enough to be listened only by wolves and  certain dog races.
  • Welcome Back my Friends is very good, but doesn't convince me totally.

Live At Carnegie Hall has the best version ever done of Sheherezade and includes essential material.

Iván

hahhaha...err.... thanks!   and good synopsis of the great live albums... Renaissance takes the cake.. without a doubt..

Sceherazade and other Stories was my first Ren purchase and I fell in love with their music from the get go.  It's still my favorite Ren release followed closely by Ashes are Burning.

Turn of the Cards appears to be underrated. To me it's the perfect
Renaissance album. I mean, "Black Flame" alone is head and shoulders above
any other of the (very good) songs they ever did.

The world keeps spinning, people keep sinning
And all the rest is just bullsh*t
