my choices would have to include a few by just one
band, totally unique and renegade in their approach.
All these albums are pretty original, overall no
copycats that I can think of....

SWEDISH
Samla Mammas Manna
                              Matlid
                            Snorungarnus Symfoni
Zamla Mammaz Manna
                              Aldre Nybegynnare
Bo Hansson
                             Lord of the Rings
DANISH
Secret Oyster
                             Straight to the Krankenhaus

Haikara's debut is a very good album that I had
forgotten. Probably the best from Finland.

Secret Oyster - Straight To The Krankenhaus (Denmark)
Tasavallan Presidentti - Lambertland (Finland)
Haikara - Haikara (Finland)
Pekka Pohjola - Harakka Bialoipokku (Finland)

Probably too many albums from Finland on my list , but I haven't heard that many from the other countries...

Also worthy of mentioning:

Samla Mammas Manna - Klossa Knapitatet (Sweden)
Culpeper's Orchard - s/t (Denmark)
Secret Oyster - Sea Son (Denmark)
Finnforest - Finnforest (Finland)

Tasavallan Presidentti - Lambertland
Høst - Hardt mot hardt ("På sterke vinger" is also great, but the second is their best IMO.)
Samla Mammas Manna - Måltid (hard for me to choose between this and "Klossa knapitatet")
Trettioåriga kriget - Krigssång
Haikara - s/t

Ragnarök and Kebnekaise also deserve to be mentioned. And Akasha.
