I'm also not familiar with Iceberg, another "track down and listen to" added to my list.

"Coses Nostres" or "Sentiments" would make quite a great place to get started with Iceberg. Kind regards. |

Thank you, I'll look for those. To jero If you mean where can you buy (since you missed a word in your post) then might I suggest getting Canarios here: |

if you want to cut corners to the best you might want
to gave Gualberto's Vercuetos or Neuronium's Quasar 2C361 a try. Gualberto gives you great avant symphonics/fusion and throws in the sitar flamenco style, totally unique to the spanish scene. Neuronium's debut rivals the same period releases from Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream, his sound is unique and their are parts that appear to be swipped by Froese and company just after Quasar was released. Although they were based in Spain, Michael Hyugen? is Belgian, making this also the best 70's release by a native belgian. ![]() Edited by DallasBryan |

Guitar player Santi Pico delivers great work on the early Neuronium albums and I still have to check out Gualberto, good recommendations DallasBryan, thanks! By the way, don't forget the current Spanish progrock scene featuring interesting work from Unoma, Bijou, Dr. No, Zaguan and Senogul (see my reviews). |

Discovering new bands and albums is a full time job. Maybe I'll quit mine and start a new life as a vagabond roaming from town to town looking for the underground record shops looking for unknown priceless gems, earning money by working some time at these shops a short period. I have a picture in my head (accompanied by a Spanish prog tune |

I have heard of some Spanish bands not mentioned here thus far (I think) and some are not in PA. Do you know them? (be careful, I'm gonna flood this thread now AKELARRE (not in PA), ALQUILBENCIL, ASFALTO (not in PA), ASTURCON, CAL, CRACK (Erik added this), ENBOR, ERROBI (not in PA), GRANADA (Erik's addition), HAIZEA, HARNAKIS, IBIO, IMAN CALIFATO INDEPENDIENTE (Erik's addition) ITOIZ (Erik's addition) ITZIAR IZUKAITZ KOTEBEL LISKER That's enough. Oh, and there's this band, Triana... |
