Since Neal Morse left spocks beard I havent checked any of the new Spocks Beard stuff out ... should I ? is it any good ?

Both are far from mediocre. But I much prefer Octane, because I think that on Feel Euphoria they tried too hard to emulate Neal's style.

Same here.
I would say out of the two,Feel Euphoria,It is still a bit proggy,and some of the songs are pretty good.But the "epic" A Guy Named Sid is just a pale shadow of past SB epics.
Octane is pretty straight forward rock if you ask me,and all of the prog has pretty much been stripped away.

FOR ME FEEL EUPHORIA IS A LOT BETTER THAT OCTANE.IS REALLY GOOD AND A LOT OF PRETTY GOOD SONGS.[ AND THEY DONT TRY TO SOUND LIKE N.MORSE ]

Feel Euphoria is far better for me. As TP says Octane is more a straight rock album in comparison.
