Does anyone else have any?

For example, I like Stevie Ray Vaughan's version of "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" more than Hendrix'. I also like Dream Theater's cover of "Perfect Strangers" more than Deep Purple's original.

I like "I'm a Man" by Chicago better than the original by the Spencer Davis Group.

Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah by either John Cale or Jeff Buckley.

Haven't heard John Cale's version, but Buckley's is hauntingly beautiful.

What about White Lion's cover of "Radar Love" I know they're a cheesy hair band but it's a great cover. WASP's cover of "The Real Me" is great too.

Steve Hillage's version of "Hurdy Gurdy Man" by Donovan, both studio and live (especially live; great guitar solo). also his version of George Harrison's "It's All Too Much"

Good question! I saw them open for KISS in 1985. Guess I've been scarred for life since

I never heard original version of "Come Away Melinda" and even don't know who sung this song first, but I can't believe it's possible to beat URIAH HEEP performance on their debut album.

Fairport Conventions version of Cohens Suzanna

Great Society's cover of Dylans Outlaw Blues

Rare Earth covering Traffic's Feeling Alright- far better than Cockers- imo
