I like all of them...the only prog singer that bothers me is Nick Barrett of Pendragon.

I like them all... and besides, if you got rid of Geddy Lee, then you'd lose a key component of Rush.

Defineatly Geddy Lee. Rush would be my favourite band if it wasn't for his banshee wailing. I really do find it difficult to listen to early Rush in particular because his voice just makes me cringe!!!!

aren't they soprano?

im pretty sure soprano is deep, but of course, im no expert on this, so I could be (and very likely am) wrong

They are all more soprano than tenor.Baritone is deep.I like all three singers.

I think the registers are castrati, alto, soprano, contralto, tenor, baritone.Someone correct me where appropriate.

So far as I know, castrati isn't a register at all, but an unfortunate circumstance. I believe castrati would be in the "treble" register, since that's what choirboys are called; not sopranos, which I think is reserved for female singers. I may be wrong, though.

I don't have a real problem with any of the aforementioned vocalists so I voted all great.  I don't like when Labrie tries to sound like James Hettfield, though.

Geddy Lee - just cannot stand his vocal pitch

Definitely LaBrie. He's not that horrible (except for "Once in a Livetime" ), but I find his vocals tiresome. On the other hand, Geddy Lee has improved incredibly with time, and now is one of my favourite singers - though I must admit he was a bit hard to take in the '70s, when he used to screech way too much. Removing him from Rush would also mean losing one of the best bass players in rock! As for Jon Anderson, his voice is very soothing and melodic, perfect for Yes's music. I tend to prefer lower-pitched voices, but he's one on the real greats.

Claudio Sanchez slaughters them all

He's like an "improved" version of Lee... even more irritating and synthetic... I really dig C&C music but the vocals still are a problem for me...

never liked either Rush, or Lee's voice in general
