I you let yourself fall in love with Victoria, say no more ... ! But I love him as a football player, unfortunately he has his bad turns on the pitch , I hope not during the World Championship in Germany but I am afraid that his huge frustrations with his marriage and Real Madrid will affect his mental stability .. ..

He confessed that he can't do Brooklyn's maths homework because it's too hard and isn't what he was "teached" (sic) in school!
Mind you, he does have loads more money than me.

World Cup 2002, Brasil vs. England, quarter-finals... a tough game. England was slightly better than Brasil and winning 1-0 when in the last minute of 1st half, Beckham refused a challenge for the ball with Kleberson, popping over the ball. Brasilians recovered the ball, Ronaldinho made a great play and served Rivaldo who kicked for the equality. Then the 1st half ended with Brasil revigorated and England disturbed. Soon in the beginning of 2nd half with England still knocked, Brasil made 2-1 and the rest is history. England wasn't able to tie even with a 11-10 player superiority, Beckham was completely out of the game in the 2nd half still disturbed by the events of the 1st half last minute. So, as a football player IMO he is skilful but has not the temper of a champion.
For his personal life, I really don't mind - he seems to be well succeeded financially* and his wife, the Spice Vicky is a wowwwwwwwwww beautiful lady.
* Although soccer isn't a beauty contest, we have to admit that some of the best players aren't exactly the type that attract girls to the stadiums or to buy soccer stuff. When the sponsors have guys like Beckham or Kaka in hands they make a great effort to promote them to a higher status than they really deserve so they can sell more.

Why do you hate him daz? I hate players who act like Mido in the african nations cup. I think Beckham's a great player, and not a bad role model for kids.

| To be fair he was carrying a foot injury - and had previously played a brilliant game against Greece when he qualified England for the tournament almost by himself. But you're right, when he pulled out of that tackle it turned the game.
He also got sent off against Argentina in 98 of course, so that's twice he's helped knock England out the World Cup! Wonder what he'll do this time?
