Its no mistake and it is sung perfectly. Please don't make fictitious rules about singing!

I find it bamboozling that anyone could actually like Jon Anderson, as I think he is very poor.
Neither Matt Bellamy or Thom Yorke are "average Joes" as singers - you are so very wrong in underestimating these very talented vocalists.
I've already made you take back almost every "fact" you've presented so far - you're welcome to your opinions, but don't try telling me that what I like isn't good, because to my ears, it is.
I'm not telling you that you can't like Jon Anderson because he's crap - I'm just correcting your misunderstandings on factual matters
I know what I like and I like what I know.
That's all.

That is absolutely not true.
It is something you're born with.
Those studies lie

BF isn't making a rule, ficticious or otherwise - but I think she's right.
The tone of voice and choice of melody should express the lyrics to create a reasonable song - otherwise what's the point?
How can anyone sing a song "perfectly"?

Ye gods - a Collaborator making statements like this about another Collaborator on the public forum?
OK, if those are the rules, then I think that w**kers with nothing to say should keep their mouths shut.
Or face a warning.

I'm beginning to think your taste is hanging in the western wind Cert. At first I thought you were trying to make sense now with your latest outburst it is very clear it's your taste buds that are a poor.Muse are ok for 1 to 2 songs max; the singer is boring and Radiohead are very poor if those are your singers Cert then you enjoy them. But reciprocated facts, Nah, I don't think so our tastes are just different I love the greatest prog band ever and you haven't been blessed with that grace but that's your misfortune. But this has been an interesting little exchange

If you truly think Yes are the greatest prog-band ever you haven't heard much.

I've been listening for 36 years and for me they are Baldfried.I've been in the rock trenches for a long time and nobody pleases me better. When you say I haven't heard much do you mean that quantity outweighs quality?????

No, I mean there are bands out there which are a lot better than Yes. I
used to be of your opinion until I discovered them. This is of course a
personal opinion only, but I'd take Gong, Magma, Van der Graaf
Generator or King Crimson any time over Yes. To name a few.

Can there be any question that Yes are one of the greatest prog bands ever? The fact that "Close to the edge" is top of our chart is a good pointer. It is of course debatable which band is the greatest, but Yes will always be at or close to the top in any poll.

Certainly there can be doubt! Since when have charts ever proved anything? It only means Yes are the most popular.

What outburst?
I merely stated my opinions.
And I will thank you NOT to insult my tastebuds.
Muse are ok for 1 to 2 songs max;
*SIGH!!!*
In your opinion...
the singer is boring and Radiohead are very poor
Again, in YOUR opinion, and possibly many others - but PLEASE stop citing this as if it's fact, as it quite blatantly is not.

Thank you - I do.

Interesting, as it shows that you cannot appreciate real artistry and like to belittle those of us that can.

We are all guilty of being very subjective but that's what makes the forum Bob, perhaps, we should just say that Uriah Heep were the best
Baldfriede, of those you mentioned I would only consider VDGG to be almost on the same level, Crimson are great band but they don't do it for me in the same way.As for only naming but a few of the others, sorry, I have listened and they do noyhing for me.But we all know the other man's meat analogy.

My tastes lean towards the eccentric, which is why Yes can never be top for me. They are way too conventional for that.

Yes - and quite frankly, I wouldn't laugh about it if I were you.
You have broken the forum rules with your insults, which is extremely bad form from a collaborator.

Agreed.
But that doesn't diminish the importance of tracks like CttE. After all, the vocals are just one small part of the whole effort.
