I voted Paice. After seeing the DVD Deep Purple 72/73 and watching his solo during The Mule I was totally blown away.

Another interesting thing I saw was during the song Fireball they attached another bass drum to his kit. I think that was the first time for anyone to use double bass drums.

What band is Paice in? Never heard of him.

I am a big fan of Bonham though, so I would probably pick him anyway.

I think Bonham was a bit better, but overall I prefer Deep Puple over Led Zeppelin.

Paice is probably a better technician than Bonham, and is one of the fastest drummers around (listen to the intro to "You Fool No One"), but Bonzo is the best! No one else could play "When the levee breaks" or "In my time of dying" in quite the same way.

John Bonham is my god. Well, not really since I don't play drums, and he's not alive. But he's the best drummer. Bonzo lives forever, man. So what if he's dead? He can play from beyond the grave
