Greetings!

Spock's Beard is planning a short US Tour this spring!  Here's the dates:

May 4 (Thu) - Poughkeepsie, NY - The Chance Theater
May 5 (Fri) - New York, NY - BB King Blues Club & Grill
May 6 (Sat) - Springfield, VA - Jaxx
May 7 (Sun) - Chicago, IL - House Of Blues
May 8 (Mon) - Denver, CO - Bluebird Theatre
May 9 (Tue) - Seattle, WA - Studio Seven
May 12 (Fri) - W. Hollywood, CA - The Key Club
May 13 (Sat) - Santa Ana, CA - Galaxy Theatre
May 14 (Sun) - Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX - Ridglea Theater

I was floored to see they are planning a gig in my home town of Seattle.  First time ever!  Presto Ballet is opening for them as well as local prog band, Lyranthe.  Turns out the manager for Lyranthe is the local promoter for the show here in Seattle.  Tickets are available through the bands website:

http://www.lyranthe.com/shows.htm

If you are in the area, hope to see you at the show!!

I'm waiting for the day they play in Michigan! Lansing in particular would be nice. Chicago is only 5 hours away but gas prices aren't very convenient.

Actually Blacksword they tour in Europe way more than they tour here in the US. Check out their web site they list every concert they have ever played.  They always play California because they live here.  We are going to check them out.  I have heard all the without NM they are bad but I have heard better about them in concert than the CD's. I will be going to the Santa Ana concert.

I'll check out their website..

I've not heard any Beard without Neal Morse, though. My SB collection is expanding very slowly, from the beginning. There's so much I need to get..
