I say Paul Cook from IQ, just listen to the precision on Tales from the Lush Attic and Dark Matter.

2nd behind him is Moseley, who is rather creative and a very disciplined drummer.

I never appreciated Fudge Smith's style until I got Live at Last and More DVD.

The guy is absolutely natural and simple, but at the same time his changes are very well elaborated, love his technique.

I love some of Mosley's songs, maybe not the most complex drummer but he shines during a lot of their songs.

Haven't voted yet - but IQ's drumming isn't very good at least until their last couple of albums - see previous threads

I think Cook's drumming is thick, and uninteresting!

My vote goes to Fudge Smith. He provides a great deal of variety and interesting beats.

Mosley is close behind.

you have to be careful!

IMO Collage's drummer is among the best ones.

honourable mention: the twin age's drummer!

cook is definitely among the best ones!

mosley too, but not with marillion: he did his best with daryl way's Wolf and steve hackett's highly strung!
