Topic: the worst album? Posted: January 30 2006 at 05:39 |
I just asked myself what is the worst album here in the progarchives? There are many lists for the best albums but no list for the worst album, so which one do you know?

Triumvirat's "Russian Roulette" is a strong candidate. If you hate yourself, try to listen it with your CD player at the "repeat" mode. Nothing recommends this album: all songs are awful (both lyrics and melodies), the playing is uninspired (J. Fritz was a great keyboard player, but you'll won't guess it by this album - and Arno Steffen is the worst singer I've ever heard), an ugly cover - overall, is a genuine masterpiece of bad music.

Piper at the Gates of Dawn. I hate it more than Brain Salad Surgery and that's saying something. Both make Love Beach sound almost tolerable.

Ah, finally....someone else who appears to hate this abomination as much as I do.
I'll throw in Phish - The Siket Disc. I love the band, but this is unbearable.

I disagree completely, but the comment is really funny.
Some albums I hate are the whole series of Tubular Bells (except the original, of course, that I love)
