Abbey Road without even a thought to anything else.
Honorable Mention to Sgt Pepper, though.
The Beatles are, IMO, the very best group ever to grace us with their music.

Tie between Sgt. Pepper & Abbey Road, but I'll give it to the former because "A Day in the Life" is my favorite Beatles song.

My Beatles favorite album is always changing.
Presently is "Revolver" but "Abbey Road" and "Sgt. Pepper's" follow closely.

[QUOTE=Losendos]
Yellow submarine was the worst
I went for Abbet Road. From Rubber Soul to Abbey Road ( with the
exception of Yellow submarine which was just a money making ploy )
each release was ground breaking.
Apparently John Lennon became quite depressed in the early 70s
because the Beatles lost their trailblazer status to the more progressive
bands. After the Beatle's demise a shocked Credence Clearwater Revival
were passed the mantle. After that the crown seemed to be worn by Led
Zeppelin and maybe the last crown wearers were Fleetwood Mac. [/
QUOTE]
Please, the very thought of Fleetwood Mac pretending to be anything
in the league of the Beatles...they were responsible (along with the Eagles
and Steve Miller) for the watery dishpan sound of 70s "Easy Rock", when
rock lost all of its edge and relevance.

Rubber Soul is my favourite - they were just starting to get to grips with the possibilities of multi tracking, sound effects, unusual musical instruments, George was bringing in the Indian influence and starting to flex his muscles as a songwriter and the only negative point is the unpleasant misoginy of Run For Your Life, which Lennon himself later disowned.
Revolver and Abbey Road are a very close joint second.

Abbey Road, for me.
Could side 2 have been the first sidelong epic, ever?. I wonder.

My favorite is definitely The Magical Mystery Tour but I voted Pepper since it's not in the poll.
