I can translate it... tomorrow.

But basically it's a fanboy review, best prog/jazz album in the world, etc. etc. etc.

Oh wait, I'll translate the words in bold - and, ladies and gentlemen... learn Polish :))) or there's not a chance in hell for you to understand the genius of Memento...

DREAM THEATER Images And Words
Review (Permanent link) by thanos @ 5:49:46 PM EST, 1/19/2006

5 stars  —  i believe thet is is one of the best records ever.also this is the record the record that completely changed prog metal back in 1993.it includes evrything you want to hear from an album.great melodies, great players good production...etc.it changed my life 3 or 4 years ago

blargh... fanboyish "i believe this is the best record ever". any review with that statement in it thats under at least 100 words in it (and thats being very lenient) should be "fandangoed" immidietly.

Peace,
mike

Hmm, maybe I should add that the reviewer says that the CD begins with one helluva kick. He considers the version of Walkin' Around the Stormy Bay from this CD to be the best he's heard. But other than, as I've said, the review is basically a fanboyish sequence of praises.

Ok, but Portuguese has also some oddities like 'ç' and 'ã'...

Unfortunately the prog-band SAGRADO CORAÇÃO DA TERRA is spelled by many SAGRADO CORACAO DA TERRA.  All the beautiful sound of 'coração' (heart) is lost...

Hugs (as always)

5 stars   My favorite KC album.

Good to know, I suppose.

I know this is an old one, but thought I'd point it out.  At least this person gave a reason for the rating, unlike the one-star ratings they gave DSOTM and The Wall, both without any explanation.

PINK FLOYD "A Momentary Lapse of Reason "
Review (Permanent link) by André Pellizzer
Posted 7:01:57 PM EST, 1/20/2006

3 stars   In 1987, great progressive rock bands had realeased albums: YES (Big Generator), GENESIS (Invisible Touch, realeased in 1986) and PINK FLOYD (A Momentary Lapse Of Reason). The "Big Generator" album turned YES to a heavy ARENA ROCK sound, GENESIS became ADULT CONTEMPORARY ("In Too Deep" proves it), but PINK FLOYD tried to continue as a PROGRESSIVE ROCK band. I found "A Momentary..." a real terrible album if we consider all the other albums, but...was PROGRESSIVE ROCK good in the late 80's??

5 stars   This CD is and forever will be great, I listen to it alot, and I haven't put it down yet, I met them not to long ago, if you get to chance to see them live, DO, cause they are just the greatest Live, as for Karma, I love it, it's one of my FAVs. Every song is just so well put together.
They sound (more than a) bit fanboy-ish. And neither one of them really talk about the album(s).

Review (Permanent link) by vlado @ 3:59:33 PM EST, 10/18/2004

5 stars  —  Some say that YES is not a real living music cause there have been no followers of theirs. But I think that the real masters should have no followers. They are creating something unique, not repeatable. Like Mozart, Bach or other masters of tones. Certainly, all the alleys are blind eventually. But the views out from the ends of these alleys, out from the very close to the edge are wonderful.

^Still here!

5 stars  —  Ian must share my dislike of organized religion easly seen in tracks like My God and hymn 43.The title track was co wrote by Ians wife to my understanding the only Tull tune that wasnt Ians and Ians only and one of the biggest Tull hits.

Hi Ansen,

Yeah, agree with all of those reviews, and they have been deleted....in both cases, they have been written by reviewers who have been quite prolific in the past, and they are some of their earlier, poorer efforts...

Cheers Bud...
