Coca-Cola for me, it's slightly less sweet than Pepsi, and has a little
more flavour. Plus, the packaging design for it is so very
good...whereas Pepsi always seems to be having an identity crisis.
Some while ago I read a large book called I think "The Coca Cola Wars"
about the history of the company, some of the politics it got tangled
up in just to sell a fizzy drink, and all about the disasterous "new"
Coke they launched in the 80's I think.
The ultimate symbol of capitalism - a product that no-one really needs,
but everyone seems to want. At one place in the book, the author
believes he may have come across the secret formula for Coke, but as a
Coca Cola Exec says to him (I paraphrase) - "even if you have, so what?
You can't sell it under the name "Coke" so it's not worth anything".
Hopefully those good people in Iraq are being introduced to one of the benefits of the West, Coke...

Coke for sure. Up until New Year's Eve 2004 I used to drink about 1.5l a day of the stuff, but made it a resolution to cut back on the consumption and just went more or less cold turkey, maybe 0.5l a week. Now I've almost stopped drinking sodas entirely, replacing it with water.. and I don't miss the Coke at all, in fact it doesn't taste nearly as good now as it used to.
Oh, and I've probably lost about 10kgs in a year just from giving up soda, that counts for something as well.

I enjoy the taste of Pepsi more than Coke. However, Pepsi is a lower quality cola. Coke stays cabonated longer than Pepsi, yet Pepsi retains its taste longer than Coke. Pepsi causes straws to float, while Coke allows them to stay in the bottle. Coke has a less sweet taste than Pepsi, which can sometimes be better. Coke goes better with pizza, while Pepsi goes well with junk food in general. Also, Coke has invented many varieties, while Pepsi just copies them and adds a few "cool" commercials. My, a lot can be said about Pepsi and Coke.
