I love both bands. Perhaps I love Hawkwind a little more.

King Crimson are one of those important bands in Prog, I've never felt that way about Hawkwind, even though they are very good, just not a classic Prog band.

Well I am a little biased, since I have toured with 2 members of Hawkwind! (Nik Turner and Harvey Bainbridge) but I like both bands. I actually like spacerock a little better though....so my answer is: Hawkwind!

I would disagree King Crimson have songs like Cat Food,Elephant Talk and The World Is My Oyster Soup Kitchen Floor Wax Museum and overall there music is just Wierder Hawkwind just do alot of Acid and think there in outer space but there both weird.
