There is enough in A and G alone to make A-M take the lead by quite a bit I think for me.

I vote A-M and then will ask some bands to change their names to Fink Ployd, Forneria Premiata Marconi, Ban Der Graaf Generator, etc.

Wow guys, you got too much time on your hands

How about ESTYX for those who like Art Rock?

That is an incredibly hard topic, but I chose N-Z.

Probably because of Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Rush, and my favourite non-prog bands are in that category too, like Our Lady Peace, Soundgarden, and Nirvana.

But A-M is pretty good too- Dream Theater, The Mars Volta, King Crimson, Marillion, and then there's Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, Incubus, and The Doors for non-prog

I'd say it's a tie.

I'm pretty sure there are more A-M bands than N-Z bands anyway!

OK weird poll but I voted A-M for Genesis, GG, Harmonium and a lot of other bands I'm pretty sure. Oh I just thought about Banco.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.
