UK's Classic Rock Magazine, February 2006 issue (with Peter Gabriel on cover), includes a new interview with Alex Lifeson on page 32 and a review of Jon Collins' Chemistry on page 101. In the interview, Alex discusses the R30 dvd, the upcoming DVD reissues, Florida cops, and most importantly, promises more guitar solos on the next Rush album. woah sounds awsome. I hope they go back to their more proggy routes though. I would love to hear a new 2112 or Hemispheres

I agree totally with you Cygnus! As much as I like Rush, I have to admit that Vapor Trails was a disappointment to me, too straightforward and monotonous; compared to ANY previous Rush album, actually.

Geddy said they want to recreate the "laid back atmosphere" of Feedback. As much as I love 70s Rush, they're not going back, so don't expect Cygnus X-1: Book III. And by the way, Vapor Trails is awesome and nothing short of amazing. It's a miracle they even recorded again in the first place. |

Great... Alex really knows how to write a great solo and VT (although a good album) was needlessly devoid of them... looking forward to the new album. |

Great news, but even more enticing news...why is Peter Gabriel on the cover?
