Solving The Rating Issue: Ronnie’s Way.

I posted this briefly in another thread, but thought there needed to be a seperate thread so that more people would notice.

So, people claim that with impressive amounts of ratings an album's average score is not what it should have been, and this is often misleading to the viewers. After reading The Admin's post regarding this issue, I figured that the reviews wouldn't be gone, but the ratings could be stopped in one way or another. Knowing that the average score loses its meaning after the many prejudiced/hateful/fanboy reviews, how about we get rid of the average score? Seriously, it's better to show no information to the viewer at all, rather than showing distortion, as a result of fanboys vs. hater wars.

Or, like it was mentioned before, we could just stop counting ratings and base the average scores ON REVIEWS ONLY. Then you wouldn't have to remove the dull ratings but they'd still lose their meaning!
