Hi,

I'm always searching for new music and I really love prog-metal, but I checked out every band in the archives now and also found some other bands which are not in the archives.

Do you know further prog-metal bands which are not in the archives?

Blind Guardian's pretty cool.  They're power metal with some prog leanings.

funny  you  should  ask  ...  you  must  check  out  *** Beyond Twilight ***  they are a great progressive metal band  with the chops of symphony x and dream theater (throw in a little black sabbath in the vocal area) but with their own sound whicch is fantastic !  they should be in the prog archives on this site but for some reason they are not ? The CD from them I know you will probably dig is called Beyond Twilight  "Section X"  I would give it a  9/10 rating for a prog metal cd and I`m very fussy

I noticed them, but couldn't get their album , it's probably quite rare, maybe I can get it via second-hand anywhere.

Did you know that they later became Moonlight Circus?

Does anyone have any further suggestions of good prog-metal bands that are NOT in the archives?

a very young polish prog metal band called "White Crow"...

http://www.whitecrow.prv.pl/

in "Dyskografia" at the bottom of the page you can find 2 whole songs for download and quite a lot of samples... The didn't impress me much but They are quite young and still underground...

Yes, they have some nice ideas and definitely potential, let's see what they will make in the future.
The vocals are a bit strange.

DEATH

Don't ask me why they aren't in the archives because they are probaly the most technical death/extreme fusion band of all time

Start with symbolic either symbolic or human - both are fantastic
