On a slightly different subject, but still related to this thread topic, I think that the ability to "Vote" for an album should be stopped right now.

This thread appeared in the main forum to celebrate CTTE being knocked off the top of the ProgArchives charts - something I was very glad to see; democracy in Prog at work.

However, some people took it into their heads to vote it back again - to deliberately "frig" the system we have here;

HALL OF SHAME:

These people should be ashamed of themselves for not even bothering to review the album, but to vote their favourite back to number one. I, for one, am disgusted at this pathetic technique.

I think that the "voting" system should be stopped now. 

It's interesting to note that there are more votes than reviews for this album...

Dream Theater dealt with.

As for the ratings without reviews, the ones mentioned above all came from different e-mail and IP addresses, so they are as legitimate as all the other ratings without reviews.

Only M@X (or Rony) can take the final decision on what to do with ratings without reviews. All I can suggest is to keep making representations on the subject to make sure he knows how you feel. (Better to do so in the forum, don't bombard him with PM's!)

I think they're all dealt with. I've noted another couple of Queen & Paul Rogers ones to see to since though.

The Saviour Machine one was just about OK I think, it tells you a little about what to expect.

You must have deleted this one about 5 seconds after I posted it here! It was still the latest review wasnt it!!

I emailed Ofur about his DSOTM review. I didn't really think his comments in the Zappa review were insulting or offensive as such, he just used playground words like "nuts" and "bonkers". I took them to be lighthearted in a "You don't have to be mad to participate in Prog Archives, but it helps" sort of way. Did the review cause anyone else concern?
