I thought that this would be a good idea for a topic, sorry if it's been done before  .
You know those albums you have that take you to another world. They're
not necessarily masterpieces, but there's something about them that
just seems to bring you to another world...I have two in particular:
Klaus Schulze-X
Neil Ardley-Kaleidoscope of Rainbows
Honorable mention: Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven-GY!BE
I'm sure there are many others, but these are the ones that have the most impact for me.

2 gems from the Acid Mothers Temple stable are doing it for me at the moment

Actually,I do think it is a masterpiece!!! I was so amazed by it that I
wrote a review and remarded the album 5 stars, it does qualify for the
masterpiece status IMO.
I just meant the albums didn't necessarily have to be masterpieces , mine just happen to be masterpieces.
