THE FOUR TRUE 'GIANTS' OF PROG ROCK!

Sorry, but I do not consider KC as a prog giant. Never progressed
further than being a support band or playing colleges. Mediocre album
sales even in the 70's! Least influential band ect! |
so... you're saying that the official founders of progressive rock and
admitted most influential bands to both Yes and Genesis is the least
influential...
BLASPHEMEY!!!
My number 1 is a toss-up - Yes/KC

That's similar for me. I've known Pink Floyd for so long, and Yes
for a little while, but only now am I discovering KC and Genesis.

This poll is like asking a mother which child to kill. I also do not see Gentle
Giant anywhere which confuses me.

mmm...King Crimson always comes out last in this kind of threads...
NOT FOR ME!
King Crimson (the only band that has mantained their prog ideals...and still managed to change more than any other band)
Yes (in the ´70 they did THE prog music...not just prog...THE prog)
Genesis (with Gabriel of course...now that was an awesome line up!!!)
and...with a little distance, not too much thought...Pink Floyd (just with Waters...how dare they go on without him?)
