...and Fish's last one for Marillion against Hogarth's fourth.

My vote goes with Clutching At Straws...Afraid Of Sunlight is one of my least favourite albums by Marillion generally...

I haven't heard Afraid Of Sunlight yet  . Just a few tracks. Clutching is fantastic, but I can't vote in this thread.

This is easy: I don't like Afraid so much, but Clutching is the worst album with Fish (thanks God he's gone after this). Then I prefer the dark "Afraid of Sunlight" (even if the 2 first songs are "funny" things).

I think I'm going to go against the grain, again.

Clutching...

Do you see a pattern here

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

forgive me, but it appears you are trying to compare apples with typewriters... ...they are both as good, though neither perfect...

...and for those who dismiss AoS lightly, maybe you should get it out again, sit back one evening and listen to it through headphones.. with no interruptions....

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

^^^its incredibly atmospheric, emotive and grows on you very slowly.... King is as catchy as hell, and runs right down my spine...
