Progressive Christian Comtemporary (yeah, it not be the best, but I'm tired to listening to all the bad comtemporary crap on the radio and what I play a t church. It needs to be different, IMHO.) Better lyrics are definiatley needed and the chords and keys of the songs are pathetic...

Well we already have progressive folk, so maybe we could add: country-prog and prog-blues.

Founding fathers of those subgenres would be: The Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan.

Actually ive always thought the best pink floyd could be used as the sound track to a porn film. 'Shine on you crazy diamond' is a really sleezy song, as is 'young lust' so i guess floyd fits into that catagory

jazz/Blues - Jazz playing under blues rhythms and singing style

Folk/Metal - Imagine a jethro tull - Iron Maiden hybrid

Symphonic Rap - Rap played with an orchestra (or many instruments) that plays complex musical arrangements

Progressive HipHop - Unusual hip-hop with solos, tempo changes, unusual time signatures, and touches of other genres.

Space Jazz - Jazzy Pink Floyd

Country-Prog - This would sound really cool.

Art Rap - Rap that uses elements of many genres of music.

Prog Reggae - Why can't this be prog?

Prog Salsa - Non-danceable salsa? salsa for the mind? why not?

Salsa/rock - Not prog, but a cool mix of rock/roll and salsa would be great.

Reggae Metal - Disaster, but possible.
