As I get closer to completing my new disc, I thought I'd let y'all hear an excerpt from one of the new tunes, go here: http://theowlwatches.dmusic.com , scroll down to The Owl Watches section and have a listen to "Dust Remembers (EXCERPT)" There's also a couple of Mellotron-drenched comedy things in the "Twisted Comedy" section from a few years ago you might like.

People are puzzled why I don't dig the Stones, well, I listened to the Stones, I tried, and I tried, and I tried, and--I Can't Get No Satisfaction!

Not bad, nice guitar riff-kinda thing you got worked up there, and when it stops you make the break clear with the sort of wind-effect.

Thanks
That wind-effect was actually a little reverse-tape plug-in that was included with my Cubase program, very fun to pull out every so often. I'm overdubbing some percussion in an anarchaic middle section tonight. |
