Posted music to share!

Hello my friends,

thanks for the hints about uploading my music.

I've used megaupload and now there's one track available to listen to. Here's the link:

It's an instrumental track I wrote back in 1996 and it appears as track 3 in my first album called "Introspection, or Search the light in your soul". It's a fully instrumental album, never published, I wrote with the sequencer of my keyboard.

I'm sorry the quality of the recording is terrible... Hopefully it's not the same for the music (looking forward to your comments, OK?!?!).

I've written 2 more albums afterwards (none of them published): "Qalinh, the brown-eyed goddess" (fully instrumental, 1998) and "The doubt" (sung, 2000). Maybe there's some more stuff to share, if you like the idea!

So here am I, eager to receive comments and critics from you. It's very nice to have an audience of experts. I hope there is room for discussion and, why not, musical collaboration! I am not a professional musician, but it's something that bites inside of me all the time...

I composed the music with the sequencer of my keyboard, so actually it's me playing the keyboard with the sound of different instruments. I try to write lines so that they are as close as possible to real ones, avoiding passages which would be impossible to play if you were using the real instrument.

I know that composing music this way makes it sound fake and unrealistically precise, but I was alone in my room at night during my faraway university days, and I found nobody who could play this stuff so I had to work it out on my own!

It happened once that I jammed up with a couple of friends who liked my music, but the result was indeed far from the initial expectations. Actually, composing with a sequencer gives you the possibility of having any instrument at your service. But when you're playing in a band, possibilities are necessarily more limited. So for instance you can't have piano, organ and orchestra at the same time, unless you have six hands or 3 keyboard players (or 2 + a real orchestra!).

But I like the music anyway. Composing sets me free and serene with the world, and that's the most rewarding prize I can expect, regardless of anything else.

Very nice composition. Shame you play on your own cause the only disadvantages I find in these wonderfull compositions (I really mean it) are the very fake drum sound (really annoying) and the lack of the live feeling. I mean when you heare it you can understand its not a band. Everything is so presice and mechanical!!!!
