Rudess is the best technically, but with Moore they made the best music, so I'll take Moore.

THEIR ARE ALL 3 KEYBOARD'S VIRTUOSO. I LIKE EVERY DREAM THEATER ALBUM ESPECIALLY IAW.
MOORE IS MORE MELODIC, SHERINIAN IS MORE FUSION, RUDESS IS COMPLETE!

I share Six Eight's judgement, my vote goes to Kevin Moore. "Wait for sleep" is unforgettable.
But sure Mr Rudess gets the second place, his musical fantasy and technical skills are astonishing. I would recommend him to always play the piano, his touch is wonderful. For once in metal music, someone who knows the difference between forte and piano. And applies.
Mr Sherinian, in my opinion, found himself a member of DT during their worst period, which didn't really help him. "A change of seasons" still has a lot of the "Images and words" feeling inside, so Derek's value added is limited. "Falling into infinity" is DT's weakest album, so cold and detached.
I heard something Derek wrote in his solo project. I don't know what you think of that - I find it average, sure not bad but something you can still live well without anyway.
Ciao,

Yours progressively,
Stefano

Derek Sherinian is going to win...This is beyond a joke.
Kevin Moore has far more feeling and Jordan Rudess is far more tecnical.

Rudess is the best technically, Sherinian is a very good player I really dig his solo work but he didnt fit with DT all that well, I think although Moore might have been the worst technically of the 3 (although he was not bad technically or even mediocre just not as good as Derek or Jordan) he fit the best so my vote goes to him. Rudess just has a cheesy style to be honest, what a waste of amazing technique
